Entering the Wild West.

cowgirl_largelightsout

I’ve been rather inspired the last few days, and above is the end results.

But I shouldn’t say ‘end’, because I’m loving this style so much I want to do more!!

Enjoy. :)

Dues Ex Machina

DuesEx

I’m still alive folks.
The image above was originally created for my elusive artbook. I know, it is kind of ruining the surprise by showing it. But I wanted to treat you people for actually still swinging by this site and my social networking places.
I know I sure don’t get as much pinup art out as I used to.

But I have been busy getting married, and doing a lot of work for the Jacky Winter group. I recently did a whole bunch of jobs for Telstra. And I may show off that stuff at some stage, we’ll see. But it is nothing like what you’re all used to seeing.

Anyway, so agency jobs have slowed down at this point which gives me a chance to work on some things I really want to get done. Like my sketchbook for this years Armageddon Expo. Its coming along folks, I think just a few more artworks and it will be time to put it all together.

I’ve been holding out on you all, because the art has to be fresh.
Well, don’t forget to come say hey on, Deviantart, facebook, twitter or email!

Catchya!

The Captain – Speed Painting

This is a style I have always wanted to master, its both fun, scary, frustrating, and inspiring all at once.
I decided to paint up a sketch I had done for John Walsh’s ‘Of Sirens and Sand’.

This is The Captain.

As for other news things have been very busy since my last posts. I have had a tonne of Agency work, Storyboards, presentations and Flash Illustrations for clients such as Yellow Pages and Holeproof.
Ontop of that, I’ve been gearing up for my wedding which is coming up very quickly next month. This is the main reason for my lack of artistic updates, I am very excited for the day but also excited to start my new life and continue on my artistic journey and where ever it may guide me.

Some things to expect;  More bottle openers, More Of Sirens and Sand concept work, and of course more GIRLS!
After the wedding my sights are set on the Armageddon Convention, in October.

I’ll keep you posted!

Suit Down

Just a little commission I did this week. Enjoy! :) DAcommish_small

And just to give somehting completely different..
abel_riso2

I was asked to produce some artwork for an exhibition put on by my agency, The Jacky Winter Group.
Its for an A3  risograph print so it had to be limited to 2 colours.
I originally just modified a pinup girl and submitted that, but then got inspired and whipped this up in about an hour or something.
I know its weird and random. Thats why I liked drawing it. :)
